CrewClock vs badge scanning
Both products let a foreman clock in a crew. With ClockShark's CrewClock, the foreman picks names from a list on their phone. With TrackBadges, the foreman scans each worker's printed QR badge — so every person on the clock was standing in front of the foreman when the shift started. Tapping a name proves nothing about who's actually there; scanning a badge you can see does.
Contract and cost
ClockShark's pricing page lists Standard at $42 a month plus $9.50 per user, and says a contract term of three years applies to all plans. TrackBadges is month to month: free for 3 people, then $9 a month plus $1.50 per person, cancel any time.

What ClockShark does that TrackBadges doesn't
ClockShark tracks jobs and tasks for job costing, builds schedules, and follows field techs with GPS through the day. If you bill clients by job or need to know which tasks ate the hours, that's real value. TrackBadges records which site and scanner each punch came from, applies overtime and rounding, and exports clean hours — it doesn't do job costing or scheduling.
